Back mid 2015, A story aired on WKRN reporting the average days on market at 61 days, down from 77. Now, December 2016 data shows Greater Nashville average days on market down to 50 days on market and Rutherford County average days on market is at 43 days on market. This data shows how strong the sellers market is and as mortgage rates begin to climb, buyers will jump in to avoid paying the higher rates. Average home prices increased nearly 13% in 2016 alone!
