Nashville is teaming up with One World to bring you a beautiful Water Lantern Festival.
It is an incredible experience to share with friends and family, even make new friends while participating in this event. Write encouraging messages to love ones on the lanterns or decorate it how ever you want. Once you have completed your lantern, release them into the water among thousands of others and experience the magic of how it brings the water to life.
Every lantern is 100% eco friendly with it being made of wood and rice paper. All lanterns will be cleaned up with a clean up crew. The event will take place on Saturday October 20th and gates will open at 5:30 pm. You’ll be able to design your lantern around 8 pm and launch your lantern into the water around 8:30-9 pm. Tickets are on sale now for $25, but hurry after the 10th of October, tickets will go up in price to $40 per person. Each ticket includes entry to the festival area, a floating lantern, a drawstring bag, marker, and a wristband. The ticket proceeds will also pay for the clean up of all lanterns and even trash that was previously in or around the water.
